1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to naavu.dev. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our email management service, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using naavu.dev, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

IMPORTANT: These Terms contain an arbitration clause and class action waiver that affects your legal rights. Please read Section 14 carefully.

2. Eligibility

To use naavu.dev, you must:

• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Have a valid Gmail account
• Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
• Not have been previously banned from using the Service

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Account Registration and Security

3.1 Account Creation

To use naavu.dev, you must create an account by signing in with your Google account using OAuth 2.0 authentication. By connecting your Gmail account, you grant us permission to access your Gmail data as described in our Privacy Policy.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your Google account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach

3.3 Account Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.

4. Service Description

naavu.dev provides the following features:

• Email Search: Search your Gmail emails by sender, subject, content, date range, and attachments
• Bulk Operations: Delete multiple emails at once based on search criteria
• Filter Creation: Create automated Gmail filters with custom actions (archive, label, mark read/unread, delete)
• History Tracking: View records of your cleanup operations and created filters
• Multi-Account Support: Connect and manage multiple Gmail accounts

Service Availability: We strive to provide uninterrupted service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without prior notice.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

5.1 Permitted Use

You may use naavu.dev only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree to use the Service solely for managing your own Gmail accounts.

5.2 Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Access or attempt to access Gmail accounts that do not belong to you
• Use the Service to send spam, malware, or malicious content
• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers/networks connected to the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without our express written permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
• Use the Service to violate Google's Terms of Service or Gmail policies
• Circumvent any access restrictions or usage limits
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without authorization

6. Gmail Integration and Permissions

6.1 Gmail API Usage

Our Service uses the Gmail API to access and manage your emails. By using naavu.dev, you acknowledge that:

• We will access your Gmail data only as necessary to provide the Service
• We comply with Google's API Services User Data Policy
• You are subject to Google's Terms of Service for Gmail

6.2 Scope of Access

We request the following Gmail permissions:

• Read Access: To search and display your emails
• Modify Access: To delete emails and create filters
• Settings Access: To create and manage Gmail filters

6.3 Revoking Access

You may revoke naavu.dev's access to your Gmail at any time through your account settings or Google Account permissions page.

7. User Responsibilities

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Permanent Deletion: Emails deleted through our Service are permanently removed from your Gmail and cannot be recovered by us
• Backup Responsibility: You are solely responsible for backing up important emails before deletion
• Filter Actions: Automated filters created through our Service will continue to operate until you delete them
• Review Before Action: You should carefully review search results before performing bulk deletions
• Compliance: You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations

8. Intellectual Property Rights

8.1 Our Rights

The Service, including its design, features, functionality, code, and content, is owned by naavu.dev and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

8.2 Your Rights

You retain all rights to your email content. We claim no ownership over your Gmail data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to access and process your Gmail data solely to provide the Service.

8.3 Trademarks

naavu.dev and associated logos are trademarks of naavu.dev. Google, Gmail, and related marks are trademarks of Google LLC. You may not use these marks without prior written permission.

9. Fees and Payment

Current Service: naavu.dev is currently provided free of charge.

Future Changes: We reserve the right to introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future. If we do so, we will:

• Provide advance notice of at least 30 days
• Clearly communicate pricing and terms
• Allow you to opt-out before any charges are incurred

10. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

10.1 Service "AS IS"

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content

10.2 No Guarantee of Data Recovery

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT DELETED EMAILS CAN BE RECOVERED. ONCE EMAILS ARE DELETED THROUGH OUR SERVICE, THEY ARE PERMANENTLY REMOVED FROM YOUR GMAIL ACCOUNT.

10.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NAAVU.DEV SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Damages resulting from the deletion of emails or creation of filters
• Interruption or cessation of the Service

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (CURRENTLY $0).

10.4 Third-Party Services

We are not responsible for the actions, content, or policies of third-party services, including Google and Gmail. Your use of Gmail is subject to Google's terms and policies.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless naavu.dev, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of a third party
• Your violation of applicable laws or regulations
• Any actions taken under your account

12. Termination

12.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by:

• Deleting your account through your account settings
• Revoking Gmail access through Google Account permissions
• Contacting us at support@naavu.dev

12.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if:

• You violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
• We suspect fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• We are required to do so by law
• Your account has been inactive for an extended period

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your right to access and use the Service will immediately cease
• We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
• Gmail filters created through our Service will remain active unless you delete them
• Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
• Notify you via email or through a prominent notice on the Service
• Provide at least 30 days' notice for material changes

Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.

14. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

14.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at support@naavu.dev to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 60 days.

14.2 Binding Arbitration

If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved through binding arbitration, except for disputes that may be brought in small claims court.

14.3 Class Action Waiver

YOU AND NAAVU.DEV AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.

14.4 Exceptions

Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent infringement of intellectual property rights.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
